Red Eyed Lacquer
Price: $12.50 USD
Inspiration: From Stranger Things, the gate!
Cap: 200 US / 20 UK
Description: A dark brown to red / orange thermal with gun metal micro flakies and gold / green / yellow / red / orange shifting flakies!
My swatches below are three coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with a quick dry top coat. I had no application issues and it applied so very smooth! Even with all of those flakies everything laid down nice and flat.
Now this thermal transitions quick and smooth! It was almost hard to capture! This polish will definitely have you ready for fall (if you aren’t already) and honestly this is one of the few times where I can’t decide which state (hot or cold) I like better! The different colors of the flakies fit in perfectly with the polish itself and everything together is just one A+ fall (or any season really) polish.
Fall Breakfast Cuticle Oil
Price: $5.50 USD
Inspiration: Fall food
Cap: 65 US / 10 UK
Description: A roller ball cuticle oil scented like blueberry pumpkin pecan waffles!
Okay. A few warnings.
Do not drink this. Do not eat your fingers after applying it. Do not use it on breakfast food items. But do maybe have a glass of milk handy because this one smells so good you’re going to think you have a plate of sweet delicious waffles in front of you.
Alright. So upon opening this, you’re going to smell syrup and waffles. Sweet, delicious, maple syrup with I’m picturing some thick homemade waffles. There is like, a carby-bread scent going on. These are definitely pumpkin waffles though. Lord, is it too early to decorate for fall? I feel like raking leaves right now. Okay, okay, back to it. There is a little bit of a tart / fruity scent? That would be the blueberries and there is a slight like nutty smell that is hard to explain. So there you have it. Your blueberry pumpkin pecan waffle cuticle oil awaits.
I personally love Red Eyed Lacquer’s cuticle oil. I do use it every day because I have found is soaks in super well on me. Everyone is different on how things work for them though so be sure to test it out!
Sweet Heart Polish & Healthy Fawns
Glitter That Ish
Price: $8.50 USD
Cap: No cap
Description: This full coverage glitter is a mix of orange, copper, gold, and black holo glitters that can be sponged on or painted on to add a little or a lot of glitz to your fall manicures.
My swatches below are two coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with two coats of quick dry top coat. I had no application issues and I am honestly shocked at how easily it applied for being a glitter heavy polish. My photos are me just using the brush to apply it! I did not sponge it on or do anything special. I did do two coats of quick dry top coat just to make sure it was smooth, but this polish didn’t seem to eat the top coat too much with only one coat. So I am pretty impressed!
There is sooooo much going on with this polish and I feel like some leaves or pumpkins or Halloween candy would suit this one nicely! Or actually, maybe even just one coat of this over black would work wonderfully and look super cute!
UPDATE: Seeing Glitter That Ish over some fall colors was requested and who am I to deny that! 🙂
Spooky Floral 100% Cotton Mask
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 100 US / 10 UK
Description: 100% cotton woven double layer mask / face cover with a non-woven polypropylene layer (3 layers total). The mask measures 7″ x 7.5″ with 7.5″ elastic around the ears.
Now, I’m no medical expert and I will not be commenting on any effectiveness of this mask vs another just as a heads up. But direct from the maker, she mentions that she did a lot of research and this was the design and layering combination that she came up with to make the most effective but breathable mask that she could make, all while still being washable and reusable. Below there is a photo of the wash instructions so be sure to check that out.
Now, I am a little bit weird about the masks I wear when I leave the house. I bought a couple plain blue fabric masks or I use some medical looking, like, single use masks. I don’t really like to stand out while in public (although I am tempted to buy the Baby Yoda mask Healthy Fawns is selling on Etsy), and why am I mentioning all of this? Because I think I will be comfortable wearing this one out in public! The pattern is not too crazy and it does a fantastic job of blending in the spooky. The skulls stick out but not in a crazy way! The blue fabric masks mentioned above are actually from Healthy Fawns and they are rather comfortable to wear. They also wash up nicely I can say from experience. I have not worn this one outside of the house yet (it’s August so I personally have to wait a little while longer for spooky :P) but while taking photos it was comfortable and fit my face nicely!
