1422 Designs – Get Ready to Rumble
Description: A bright blue crelly with rainbow shifting flakies
Price: $11.50 USD
Cap: 35
Inspiration: Pokémon Rumble World logo
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This is a fun bright crelly! Now don’t let the first coat of this polish scare you. The first coat was very pale, almost as if this could be used for a topper (just an idea!), but once you do two or three you see the light blue color as seen in my photos! It is sheer as you can see, but I’m starting to like sheer polishes! A little visible nail line never hurt anyone! Haha! But this polish applied easily even with all the flakies and I only used one coat of top coat!
All Mixed Up Lacquers – Pokeball Vinyl Sticker
Description: Glittery Pokéball vinyl sticker perfect for walls, helmers, vehicles and more!
Price: $5.00 USD
Cap: 30
Inspiration: Pokéball
Size: 3 in x 3 in
This is one sparkly Pokéball! Now, I love stickers so I was very excited for this one! I’m actually one of those people that love stickers but are usually afraid of committing to putting them on anything. BUT I love decorating my Alex drawers from IKEA with them!
Check out the photo captions below if you would like instructions for applying decals!

(Oh and if something doesn’t stick to your surface and peels back up on the top layer, just put that top layer back down and gently scrape over the surface again!)

Alter Ego – Bulbasaur
Description: A lighter green shimmer with green microglitter
Price: $10.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Bulbasaur
(*NOTE* – My swatcher bottle used in photos is a mini size. You will receive a 17 ml bottle)
(*NOTE* – My swatcher bottle used in photos is a mini size. You will receive a 17 ml bottle)
My swatches below are 3 coats.
I am shocked by this polish! I did not expect it to build up so well after 3 coats and I did not expect it to be so opalescent and glow-y! If you have read my blog before, you might know that I tend to not wear green very often. Then of course, almost every single time, I end up loving the darn green polish! Well this is one of those times for sure. It perfectly represents Bulbasaur and oh man that low light photo–I love how much this polish just shines!
Apipila – Pokémon Stamping Plate
Description: Stainless Steel Stamping Plate with exclusive drawings for the group.
Price: $14.99 USD
Cap: 300
Inspiration: Pokémon characters
Size: 15 x 10 cm
Well I KNOW that you all are VERY excited for this plate! I had so many people messaging me asking if there was a plate this month. 😛 Well here it is!
I use my Jumbo Clear What’s Up Nails stamper and my Maniology monocle stamper for these manicures below and both picked up very well! All of the stamping polishes I used (I list them below the photos) also picked up very well! This plate is awesome and it is etched very well. After I cleaned the plate with cotton balls and 100% acetone, there was not very much cotton ball fuzz left which is great as well!
Also, incase you were wondering how I got the plate to look brand new after using it, if you swipe the plate with a cotton ball soaked in a little alcohol (isopropyl, not rum or something) it removes streaks left by the acetone and looks brand new!

A England – The Heart Desires

Atomic Polish – MissingNo.
Description: This bad boy is a holographic extravaganza. MissingNo. has a lilac base and is filled with 3 different sizes of holographic micro flakes creating a linear holographic look. There are added bronze flakes to give it some extra pizazz and shimmer! It is opaque in 2-3 coats depending on application.
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: The OG glitch Pokémon, MissingNo.
My swatches below are 2 coats.
This polish built up very nicely! The description mentions it is opaque in 2-3 coats and I was able to achieve opaque-ness (is that even a word?) in two normal coats! The brush is nice and big as well so it holds plenty to be able to get that full coverage. This polish is also VERY sparkly! Just wow. I love this shade of lilac and I hope I was able to do all the holo justice!
BCB Lacquers – Lava Plume
Description: A deep fire red polish with flakies that shift from bright red, to deep oranges, to gold depending on the angle it is viewed.
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: 60
Inspiration: Flareon/Mega Flareon
My swatches below are 3 coats.
Now, sometimes you don’t read a polish description or look very well at a bottle before applying it and get a surprise! This is one of those times! I expected a black polish but no! Each layer was a lovely maroon / purple / red color and each layer built up to be a fabulous dark dark red!
This polish applied nicely even with it being a little bit thicker due to the flakies, and everything laid down nice and flat.
By Dany Vianna – Breloom
Description: A soft sage green crelly with aurora shimmer, white glitters and copper micro flakes
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 50
Inspiration: Breloom from Pokémon Go
My swatches below are 2 coats.
This polish applied so easily! I also love the mix of glitters and flakies and shimmer in this one. Check out the low daylight bottle macro for the best look at how much shimmer there is! And it is such a unique color! I definitely do not have anything like this in my collection. Everything laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat.
By Vanessa Molina – TORNADUS
Description: A magnetic ultra chrome green / purple chameleon polish with a mix of iridescent flakes
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: 150
Inspiration: Tornadus evolution

My swatches below are 3 coats.
Alright. Before you check out my swatches I want to mention that I know now what I did wrong. I had very nice crisp magnetic lines and then I smudged them a little bit.
So the advice I was given for magnetics was to do one coat and not magnetize it. Let it dry a little bit. Then do a second coat and hold the magnet over the nail as close as you can to the nail, for 30 seconds at least. Then once that has dried for a little bit, do another coat if needed and hold the magnet as close as you can to the nail for 30 seconds. Then you should probably let that dry for a little bit otherwise you will smoosh or push the magnetic pigment around with your top coat. This is what I did. I top-coated too soon. I did use the magnet over the top coat (that was another piece of advice as well), but the “damage” was done. I still really like how it looks, and you can now see a bunch of the shift all at once, but I apologize for not having the crisp typical magnetic line work. There is at least one other swatcher of this polish that I know of so be sure to look for their swatches in the Polished Gamers Group as well!
I also included a couple macro shots of this polish not magnetized and I think you all will love it either way!
Chirality – Tonal Shift Acetone Additive Trio
Description: A moisturizing additive for acetone to make nail polish removal less harsh on your skin and nails. Formulated with the same skin loving oils as Soften Your Tips Nourishing Cuticle Oil, Tonal Shift will add a moisturizing touch during polish removal. Just shake the bottle of Tonal Shift to ensure all the nourishing oils are mixed. Pour the entire bottle into 6-8 ounces of acetone. Then swirl the acetone bottle to mix.
Starter Pokémon Types Trio:
Fire: Fresh out of the oven apple streusel with a dusting of ground cinnamon bark.
Water: Juicy sweet watermelon.
Grass: Fresh cut grass with green cactus and crisp ozone sea salt
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: 30
Inspiration: Starter Pokémon Types
Size: 15mL each
If you haven’t used an acetone additive before I highly recommend it! Check out the description for instructions!
I usually add a whole bottle of antidote to a half bottle of acetone. I usually only add it to 100% acetone, but I think you can still add it into non-acetone remover as well! I have used Chirality’s Tonal Shift in the past and it really does help. I never could bring myself to just use 100% acetone on my hands (only when a glitter polish required it) and now I am able to without worrying that my hands will just get 100% dried out!
Now let’s talk about these scents.
Fire: I immediately get cinnamon and apples. Oh my gosh this is delightful. I may need a glass of milk!
Water: YUP. I love anything watermelon flavored and this is definitely that scent! I actually ended up picking this one to use first because I love watermelon so much, but Fire may be a good choice now that it’s FALL.
Grass: This one smells earthy. It reminds me of a clean cotton scent! It does also remind me of walking outside and the grass is still a little dewy and you just catch a whiff of that nature scent. Mmmmm.

Color Spectrum Polish – Feed Me Rare Candy
Description: A sweet snow cone scent with notes of lemon-lime soda and lemondrops in a fun coral tint and rainbow shimmers.
Price: $4.00 USD
Cap: 30
Inspiration: Pokemon Go Rare Candy
Ingredients: Sunflower Wax, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, Flavoring, Mica/Glitter
So, I love Sprite. It’s my favorite drink I really should just admit at this point. After I opened this up I immediately thought “lemon and lime….SPRITE.” So if you like Sprite too, cool, because that scent is a part of this lip balm. 😉 I do pick up a little bit more lemon than just the “Sprite” smell, but I love it all the same. It’s sweet and juicy but not too sweet that I’m going to be hungry all day while wearing it!
It also feels great going on. It’s a very nice lip balm and it kept my lips feeling moisturized for quite awhile now actually. I put it on once this afternoon and haven’t had to put more on since! It has since soaked in, but my lips still feel moisturized.

Colores de Carol – Gotta Catch ‘Em All!
Description: A white crelly with a red shimmer and a fun mix of red and black glitters in various shapes and sizes.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Pokeball
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This polish built up very nicely! I think two coats might have been enough, but I’m a sucker for full coverage most of the time. The application was very smooth and everything laid down nice and flat. I also did not have to fish for glitters–there are tons! This polish also has a lovely red shimmer that you can probably see best in the dark bottle macro shot up above, but it is definitely more visible in person than my photos convey!
Copacetic Cosmetics – Pikapi + Tears Of Love
Description: Pikapi – is a bold to dark blue gray cream thermal. Did you know that there is an official Pikachu translator language guide? Pikapi is actually the word for Ash (Ash’s real name is Satoshi)
I wanted to create a beautiful stand alone polish representing ash turning to stone, but I though adding any glitter would take away from the statement that it was a sad scene. So I came up with the idea to add an OPTION to get a 5ml add on of “Tears of Love”
Tears of Love – is a glitter bomb filled with blue, green, red, and white glitter that will add color and life to the first polish representing how the love of all the Pokemon was able to bring ash back to life and out of the stone.
Pikapi is $10
Pikapi + Tears of Love is $12.50
Price: $10.00 USD for Pikapi
$12.50 USD for Pikapi + Tears of Love
Cap: 50
Size: Pikapi 15ml – Tears of Love 5ml
Inspiration: Ash turning to stone in Pokémon the first movie and then being revived by the tears cried by the Pokémon who love and care for him.

My swatches below are 3 coats of Pikapi and when I add Tears of Love, that is 1 coat of Tears of Love.
Now this combo is such a cute idea! I love the idea of the polish and the small topper, which I want to mention, a little goes a longggggggggggg way with the Tears of Love. I could have wiped even more off of the brush and it still would have been an almost full coverage glitter bomb! 🙂
The thermal creme (Pikapi) transitions super fast! Even after just applying it, I noticed it transitioned to the lighter blue just while sitting on my nails. It also applied very easily and even though I was pretty shaky (I should just assume at this point in my life that if I’m shaky, I should probably go eat something) I had no issues applying it and smoothing out my mistakes. I call that a win!
Esmaltes Da Kelly – Jigglypuff
Description: Pink baby crelly with iridescent flakies pink green and galaxy glitter lavender
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: Pokémon cute character

My swatches below are 3 coats.
This polish is going to satisfy any and all flakies lovers! Oh my goodness. I felt as if I was just bathing in flakies! 😀 This dainty pink polish is a fun one for sure! It applied nice and smooth and it must have dried quickly or is such a good formula that it didn’t drag or “smoosh” (a very technical term) up when top coating it! Everything laid down nice and flat and I only had to use one coat of top coat!
Ethereal Lacquer – Dazzling Gleam
Description: A pale icy lavender with linear holographic sparkle and a strong bright pink to orange shifting shimmer.
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: No cap The cap was changed to 350
Inspiration: Alolan Ninetails
My swatches below are 2 coats.
This polish is so very lovely! There is plenty of shimmer and shift in this one! I did think that maybe it would take 3 coats (similar to some other very holo polishes I have), but nope! It only took two for me. I especially love how this polish looks in lower light. I just loveeeeee how dark the shimmer gets! It is very aptly named as well–it is very dazzling!

Fanchromatic Nails – “so i herd u liek mudkipz”
Description: “so i herd u liek mudkipz” is a loving tribute to one of our favorite memes of years past! It’s a slightly-teal-leaning neon blue, with scattered gold and iridescent shimmer, packed with iridescent & chameleon flakies that shift along the orange/pink/red spectrum. This polish is designed to have a satin/matte finish but is also happy with a glossy top coat!
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Mudkips, and the “so i herd u liek mudkipz” meme
My swatches below are 2 coats.
First off, anything based on a meme has my vote, and second, this is such a fun polish! I feel like I buy a ton of blues but with the flakies and shimmer in this one, it definitely is unique. And there are some BIG flakies in here. As mentioned in the description this polish does dry matte, and I did top with a glossy top coat for photos, but then I added a matte top coat…..which as I type this I realize I could have just taken a photo before top coating it……Well sometimes when you get into a rhythm you just lose track of things haha!
I do want to mention that in person this polish does lean the tiniest bit more teal than my photos convey I believe.
Fangirl Polish – Choose Your Starter magnet set
Description: Choose your starter. This always seems like one of the most important decisions of your life … who will you pick? Grass, Fire, or Water type? With the Choose Your Starter magnet set, you can catch ‘em all!
Magnet set includes one of each Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Eevee, Pikachu, and Squirtle. Each magnet is sealed with a glossy non-toxic water-based sealer, and adorned with a small, but mighty, neodymium magnet on the back. These magnets can be displayed on any magnetic surface, such as: magnetic white boards, helmers, refrigerators, or anywhere you can stick a magnet… they will also work great as a needle minder!
Slight variances may occur since each magnet is personally and individually handcrafted.
Sizes:
Pikachu, Eevee, and Squirtle: approx 1.75” (H) x 1.5” (W)
Bulbasaur: approx 1.5” (H) x 1.5” (W)
Charmander: approx 2” (H) x 1.5” (W)
Price: $10.00 USD
Cap: 25
Inspiration: Pokémon starters
This magnet set is. so. stinking. cute. Eevee may actually be my favorite Pokémon so I was very excited to see Eevee included. Honestly they’re all so cute that I really can’t pick a favorite! These magnets are also pretty darn strong, just like the Pokémon themselves! Check out my photos below for a show of their strength!
Geekish Glitter Lacquer – #132 Dad
Description: A lilac based crelly with black microglitter and black bar glitter
Price: $9.00 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: Ditto and his many many children
My swatches below are 2 coats of polish.
So I heard bar glitters are back! I have seen a few polishes with them here and there recently and I personally have no problem with them! I’m kind of excited to see more polishes using them since I don’t really own any. This polish is especially perfect with them (the circle and bar glitters look just like Ditto’s facial features bahahaha). It applied very easily and the polish is thick enough to be opaque in two coats. But if you want to use thinner coats so that the bar glitters show up better through the layers of polish, don’t put as much down as I did. 😉
Indie by Patty Lopes – Fur Balls
Description: Light turquoise jelly base with yellow, purple matte glitters, holo purple glitters and crystal flakies multichrome.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: Pachirisu
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This polish is still a little bit sheer after 3 coats but that is okay! I’m learning to be accepting of jellies and sheer polishes and to not obsess over hiding all visible nail line. And I am glad that I am because this is another super fun and unique polish! The flakies and glitters all look so cute together and applied like a dream. I recommend applying this polish (and I think any glitter or flakie filled jelly at least) with the brush as flat as possible on the nail. This way you will get the most glitters and flakies on with one stroke!
Jen & Berries – Fancy a game of Chansey?
Description: Fancy a game of Chansey? is a pink linear holographic polish with multichrome flakies that shift purple/pink/gold.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 43
Inspiration: Chansey
(*NOTE – The bottle you purchase will be 12.5 mL. Some swatchers received 8 mL sample size bottles. My bottle in the photos below is the 12.5 mL bottle.)
My swatches below are 2 coats.
Get your sunglasses ready because this polish is a bright and shiny holo and flakie lovers dream! I love how sparkly this is, I really just can’t stop staring at my nails! This polish applied extremely easily and actually dried to the touch super fast! Everything laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat.
Jewelry by RPF – Pikachu Rotating Bag/Backpack Charm
Description: This month Jewelry by RPF has a Pikachu bag/backpack charm! This charm comes with a large clasp to hang from your bag or backpack, a keyring and a small chain leading to a rotating cabochon with Pikachu on one side and “Tannis and the Vault” polish from Patty Lopes on the other side. The polish was described as, “pale yellow jelly base with aurora shimmer, pink holo micro glitters and multichrome flakies”.
The rotating backpack charm is made from a zinc alloy metal. It is about 4.5″ long and is all lead and nickel free.
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: 18
Inspiration: Pikachu
Size: 4.5 in long
Now be sure to watch the video because this adorable keychain spins! Both sides of this keychain represent Pikachu perfectly and what a fun addition to a backpack or bag! This keychain feels pretty sturdy so I think you wouldn’t have to worry if this was put on a bag or even a kids’ backpack! I also love having the clasp because it is so much easier to just put it anywhere and not have to worry about breaking a nail! (Although I broke one once putting my hair in a ponytail so I guess I shouldn’t jinx it).

LynBDesigns – So Char-Ming
Description: An orange to cream thermal filled with shifting flakies and aurora shimmer
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Charmander
My swatches below are 2 coats.
Now LynBDesigns’ brush may be small but it holds quite a bit and I love how easy it is to apply the polish with! I was actually almost able to get full coverage in one coat! AND the flakies in this one are HUGE (look at the one on my pinky!). This polish is the tiniest bit sheer with only two coats, but I still love it. It also transitioned very quickly and easily and everything laid down nice and flat with only one coat of top coat.
Manis & Molotovs – Sassy Kitty Ring
Description: A sassy iridescent kitty backed with a field of creamy smooth neon pink and coral from Necessary Evil’s Billie Eilish collection.
Price: $10.00 USD
Cap: 10
Inspiration: Skitty
Material: Stainless Steel
Size: One Size fits most – This ring is adjustable!
Awwwww. So the cat on this ring looks JUST like a cat that was hanging out on our porch the other day. It was a little black and white cat and it was so cuteeeee, just like this ring! The flakies that the cat image is filled in with were a little bit hard to capture since they are so dainty but definitely check out my low daylight macro for the best look at them! They are definitely more visible in person and in different lighting conditions! 🙂
As for sizing, I would say that my ring size is about a 6 and this ring fit almost all of my fingers without slipping off. It was loose on my pinky and a tiny bit loose on my pointer finger (but stayed on) but it even fit my thumb! This ring is adjustable I learned after posting my blog! Only one piece is soldered to the backing and you can adjust it! If you are new to my blog I am actually allergic to metal but I can wear stainless steel, sterling silver, and gold. I did not have any reaction to wearing this ring that I noticed since it is sterling silver. I wore it around the house for awhile and during pictures and so far so good! I always like to mention to be sure and keep in mind how you react to jewelry and take my review with a grain of salt! Everything is different for everyone! 🙂
Matterhorn Oils – Gourgeist
Description: A perfect fall fragrance blend of pumpkin spice, buttery vanilla, fluffy marshmallow and fresh donuts.
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: No Cap
Inspiration: Gourgeist
Size: 1 oz
This is described as a beard and hair oil, but I also know you can use it as a cuticle oil! That is how I used it and it works very well!
This was my first time using a Matterhorn oil and it felt a little bit different from my normal cuticle oils. It might be just a little bit thicker? Nothing wrong with that though! It makes sense that it might be a little different since it is sold as a beard and hair oil. It still worked just like a normal cuticle oil though and I know a bunch of folks are using it that way as well. It soaked in rather nicely and a little dab will do ya! I feel like this container would last me months for just cuticles! I also enjoyed having the dropper to apply it as well.
So when you open this, you’re going to think you just walked into a Krispy Kreme that sells pumpkin pies. I mean really, normally I like to go through what I smell, but just 100%, you walk into a Krispy Kreme and they’re making fresh donuts and you get one for free while you wait and then boom. Suddenly there’s another conveyer belt and they’re making pumpkin pies and there is that nice cinnamon / vanilla / nutmeg pumpkin scent. That is what this oil smells like.
Now, please don’t laugh at my application photos, or do. I was so focused on getting my timer on my camera to work and everything to be focused that I basically poured the oil all over my fingers. Haha! It worked though. They came out VERY moisturized.
MLF Lacquer – Gotta Catch ‘Em All
Description: A medium blue crelly with a red to orange to yellow color shifting shimmer and linear holographic microflakes.
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: The world of Pokémon
My swatches below are 2 coats.
I did apply this polish over a regular base coat and not a peel off base coat so that I could also use this polish for nail art. It was very easy to remove! It was also very easy to apply and went on nice and smooth.
I very much love the shimmer on this one. The different shimmer shades with the blue are just perfect and very much compliment each other. I think my low daylight bottle shots were able to show off the shimmer the best!
Moon Shine Mani – High Horsepower
Description: Dark brown jelly filled with fiery red/orange/gold/green iridescent flakies and orange and black glitters.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Inspired by the beautiful and powerful Mudsdale
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This polish is quite thick I will say, BUT, it applied very well! I actually tried to do three thinner coats but I ended up doing probably normal to thicker coats. This did mean I ended up with full coverage though. Everything laid down nice and flat and as you can see, there is a whole mess of glitters and flakies in this one! I think it looks even more crazy and layered when it is matte as well! Another bonus is that it is a lovely shade of brown that you don’t see too often!
MTK Designs – A Phoenix by any other name is Moltres
Description: A yellow to red thermal with red/purple shifting iridescent flakies and shimmer
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Moltres
My swatches below are 2 coats.
For being so flakie heavy and for a yellow color as one of the thermal colors, this polish is thick! Not in a bad way at all, but rather I mention this because I’m impressed. I was able to get full coverage with only two coats. To me, that’s pretty awesome. Also, this one transitions very easily and quickly too! I had no application issues and everything laid down nice and flat.
My Indie Polish – Copperajah
Description: This is an intentionally sheer teal with orange holo glitters and tons of multi colour flakies. It’s stunning as a polish or over other colours.
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: 50
Inspiration: The weirdest Pokémon
My swatches below are 3 coats.
The inspiration may be “the weirdest Pokémon,” but this is definitely not a weird polish! I am amazed at how smooth it applied with so much glitter and flakies in it! The description does mention that it is intentionally sheer so keep that in mind. I actually did 3 coats and it’s pretty close to being opaque. It was lovely with only two coats as well and I bet it would be a fabulous topper!
Necessary Evil – Memory Erasure
Description: A black base with scattered holo and iridescent flakes and blue purple shimmer.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Mewtwo
My swatches below are 3 coats.
So I think the polish was opaque at two coats, but I did 3 just to be sure. This one has a nice paddle brush that allowed for maximum flakies to be applied at once! And oh my gosh the dark subtle shimmer. I love it so much! This is a very gorgeous polish that will have you staring at your nails from every angle!
Everything also laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat.
NeVerMind Polish – Eevee
Description: Eevee is a warm brown polish with linear holo and gold micro glitter
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: Eevee
My swatches below are 2 coats.
Now, I was pretty excited about this polish because I love Eevee so much and I love this polish too! The gold glitters and dash of holo is perfect! There aren’t too many brown polishes out there so I love when I see a new one. This one also applied super easily and I love the size of the brush! It looks a little bit bigger in the brush photo above than it really is, but it allowed for very easy application!
Night Owl Lacquer – Mismagius
Description: This is a blackened purple with violet/fuchsia shimmer fleck and violet/fuchsia holographic shreds.
Price: $10.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Mismagius, a Ghost-type Pokémon that is the evolved form of Misdreavus.
My swatches below are 2 coats.
I actually did one very thin coat and then did another coat that was wayyyy thicker and it worked out so well! I think this is one of those polishes that you do want to do thicker coats when applying it. There is so much going on in this polish though and I love it! I’m a big fan of the triangular ‘v’ looking glitters and everything just mixes together so well! It definitely feels dark and spooky just like its inspiration! 🙂
Pampered Polishes – 94 Mischievous Ghost
Description: A super dark, almost black, eggplant purple holographic base with a purple microflakie, gold flakes, platinum flakes, and ultrachrome chameleon microflakies
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: Gengar
My swatches below are 3 coats.
My swatches may look pretty dark, but be sure to check out the bottle shots to see that very dark eggplant purple color! I was being extra careful with my application of this polish so I did 3 thin coats, but I think you could get full coverage in 2. Everything laid down nice and flat and it does apply very easily. I am loving the mix of glitters and holo in this one as well! I think it might be even more sparkly in person!
Peachtree Polish – Poison Centipede
Description: A tri-thermal polish that shifts from wine (cold) to red (transition) to orchid (warm) and is loaded with iridescent flakies of blue, gold, green, and pink.
Price: $11.50 USD
Cap: 30
Inspiration: The colors of Scolipede
My swatches below are 3 coats.
Now for this polish I did three thinner-ish coats since the polish is a little bit thicker, but it applied very nicely. Everything laid down nice and flat and I had no application issues! The flakies are stunning and the tri-thermal is a fabulous shift of colors that go great together! I also love that you can definitely tell every color apart. I hope my swatches do this one justice! Be sure to check out my matte photo for a look at every color!
Penelope Luz – Luxray
Description: Graphite base with iridescent flake blue and ucc flake Gold, and glitter holo Gold
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: 200
Inspiration: Pokémon Luxray
My swatches below are 3 thin coats.
This polish applied very easily, even with it being full of flakies and glitters! Everything laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat. I included up above two photos of the polish on the brush because I thought it looked super pretty under bright light! I also love how the flakies shine and glow! This is definitely a lovely polish and I cannot wait to wear it again!
Polish Molish – Chikorita
Description: A thermal shade (vibrant lime green in warm and grass green in cold) with pink iridescent flakes and neon pink glitter.
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: 62
Inspiration: Chikorita is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II.
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This polish is definitely opaque in two coats but I wanted to correct some of my painting mistakes so I used 3. I did have to color correct my bottle photos some because my camera picked up almost a soft sage green color, but it is definitely a very vibrant grass green in its cold state. My nail photos photographed color accurate though! Everything applied very easily and I love the mix of glitters in this one!
This one takes a little more heat than some to transition to its warm state but that is perfectly okay! Every thermal polish could have a different transition point. 🙂
PoSHlish – The Power That’s Inside
Description: blue – green thermal with green and blue opalescent flakes
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: 15
Inspiration: Oddish
My swatches below are 3 coats.
Now I’m going to have to out myself again and say that I am biased about this polish because of the shift to that teal blue! I’m a sucker for teal and can never get enough. I actually usually shy away from greens, but this is a lovely almost dark forest green. There are also some giant flakies in here for you flakie lovers!
As for application, I recommend thicker coats when applying this polish. I tried really thin coats but then when I tried thicker coats, all of the flakies were on the brush and it applied even better! I do like the smaller brush on this one as it gave me even more control over the application.
Psyche Minerals – Bubble Jet
Description: A semi sheer seafoam green with a blue shift and sparkles.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 50
Inspiration: Vaporeon
My swatches below are 3 coats.
Oh my gosh this polish in low light is INSANE. The shimmer is fabulous and I love the brush on this one. It felt like it was the easiest polish to apply ever. The formula is very nice and it applied very smooth.
Psyche Minerals actually recently released their first nail polish collection and this is probably also considered one of the first Psyche Minerals polishes released! Well, Psyche did a fabulous job and I can’t wait to see even more from this fabulous and versatile brand in the future as well!
Red Eyed Lacquer – Mega Evolved
Description: Mega Evolved is a teal crelly with orange/pink/gold/teal shifting flakies!
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: Charizard!
My swatches below are 3 coats.
Now I’m a sucker for anything teal so I’m already biased about this one but oh boy is it fantastic. I did have to do a little bit of color correcting on my bottle shots because my camera wanted you to see a sky blue, but this polish is definitely a fabulous teal and my swatch photos actually photographed color correct. I think the flakies suit this polish perfectly and I cannot wait to wear it again! Everything also laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat.
Rogue Lacquer – Mew Mew
Description: Delicate mauve scattered holo with aqua to purple shimmer and micro holo flakes
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: None
Inspiration: The Pokémon Mew
My swatches below are 2 coats.
I am obsessed with this mix of colors. I am usually obsessed with mint and purple anything (along with teal of course) so this polish especially stands out to me. It applied very easily and I couldn’t stop staring at my nails! I cannot wait to wear it again! It is gorgeous!
Saki Lacquer – Water Mouse
Description: Water Mouse is a blue crelly with white glitters and red shimmer.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 50
Inspiration: Marill
My swatches below are 2 coats.
I love the mix of glitters in this one! With the shimmer and multi size and shape glitters, this polish is just adorable. It applied very easily in two coats and it may be possible to better let the glitters show through (I definitely covered some of them up in my swatches below) by using three thin coats instead. But everything felt smooth to the touch with one coat of topcoat!
Sassy Cats Lacquer – Snap Island
Description: A pastel multichrome shifting from purple pink peach gold in a sheer pink base
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: 30
Inspiration: Pokémon snap island scenery
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This is a very shifty polish! I especially love the peach color that the polish shifts to. This polish also represents its inspiration photo perfectly! I did use 3 coats for my application and the larger brush holds quite a bit of polish so you can easily do thicker or thinner coats as you see fit!
Sassy Shark Charms – Meme-achu
Description: A magnet inspired by the Shocked Pikachu meme
Price: $7.00 USD
Cap: 30
Size: 2 in tall x 2 in wide
Ingredients: Epoxy resin
Inspiration: Pikachu meme
!!!
This magnet has slayed me. It’s adorable and hilarious and not much more needs to be said. It actually holds up a decent amount when I was done just staring at it and actually used it as a magnet. This one will be probably be the showcase of our fridge from now on. I love it!
Swamp Gloss – Shut Yo Meowth
Description: A linear holo, deep red base with aurora shimmer and micro holo flakes
Price: $13.00 USD
Cap: 80
Inspiration: Meowth
My swatches below are 2 coats.
Oh boy is this a deep and delicious polish (not like, food wise, don’t eat it!). I love the shift and shimmer in this one–it goes from like a dark orange to a very deep merlot. It applied very easily and I wonder if 3 coats would darken it even more….Hmmm that may be an experiment for another day!
Sweet & Sour Lacquer – Hips Don’t Lie
Description: Squishy red jelly loaded with fire red holo dust, blue/purple iridescent chameleon flakies, and matte yellow micro glitter.
Price: $11.50 USD
Cap: 75
Inspiration: Jynx’s rhythmic and alluring hip-shaking and swaying that is so contagious, it compels others to do the same.
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This is an amazing jelly! I would have never expected to love a red jelly with yellow glitters and purple shifty flakies so much, but here we are and I am truly in love! It applied effortlessly and be sure to check out my matte photo. The flakies are just shining perfectly!
Everything also laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat!
Tonshi Mountain Studios – Luvdisc
Description: A house blend of Love Spell VS Type, Pink Chiffon BBW Type, and Vanilla Lace VS Type
Price: $4.00 USD
Cap: No Cap
Inspiration: Luvdisc Pokémon
In order to get these pictures to show off the wax melts, I of course had to melt some. But be sure to check out the Pour Date and the Melt After dates on your package! I did melt mine a few days earlier than my “melt after” date in order to take these photos but there wasn’t an issue for me! I realize now that I probably could have melted them after the “melt after” date, but I was a little too eager to get photos started :)! The scent was definitely still very nice and didn’t overwhelm the room, but had a nice throw for sure! But definitely try to heed that date as I am sure the maker knows what they are doing and it will be even more awesome then! 😉
I believe that one of the four hearts is plenty to get a good throw, but I think you could also possibly melt two at once and have an even stronger scent! Be sure to check the size of your wax melter though to make sure two could fit! I think two would be pushing it for mine. 🙂
Now for the scent! I actually have not smelled any of these in person except for Love Spell, so I wanted to look up their scent descriptions! They are below:
–VS Love Spell – Cherry Blossom. Fresh Peach. Fruity Floral
–VS Vanilla Lace – Notes of vanilla & musk
–B&BW Pink Chiffon – Soft pink petals & vanilla chiffon icing. Key notes: Sparkling Red Pear, Jasmine Petals, Tiare Flower, Vanilla Orchid, Chiffon Musk
I definitely feel like I walked into a perfume flower shop. The scent is dainty and not overbearing while also being pretty strong. It doesn’t make me cough or feel lightheaded or anything though, even after sticking my nose into the bag. I smell a decent amount of floral-ness, along with some fruit, vanilla, and something a little tangy! This is a house blend of these scents and I have not smelled them all separately in person, but I do feel like this wax is a great representation of them, even after only reading the scent descriptions.

Treo Lacquer – Wind Rage
Description: This handmixed polish is a black based purple magnetic filled with purple to blue to gold to lime shifting ultra chrome chameleon flakies.
Price: $12.00 USD
Cap: 120
Inspiration: Inspired by the beautiful Gigantamax Corviknight and named after it’s exclusive move.
My swatches below are 3 coats.
SO. I think I figured out magnetics a little bit better! I have my tips and tricks that I heard listed up under the By Vanessa Molina magnetic polish, but this time I tried a possibly stronger bar magnet, and I held it in place over my nail for like 40 seconds each time. That really seemed to help! I also let it dry some more before top coating and again held the magnet over each nail before top coating.
Otherwise this polish is fab! Please don’t tell Treo that I may actually love the polish not magnetized even more. I like both ways, but I’m just a sucker for purple and this is a lovely deep one. It applied effortlessly and I think it would have worked with only two coats–one unmagnetized first coat, then a second magnetized one. It looked like it was fully opaque with 2, but I did 3 maybe out of habit. OH. Actually, my pinky nail is sort of 4 coats. I accidentally pushed the magnet into the wet polish. Oops! But I was able to recover and I don’t think anyone will be able to tell.
Twisting Nether Lacquer – Minccino
Description: Soft gray with pink-gold-green shimmer
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: 75
Inspiration: Minccino the chinchilla
My swatches below are 3 coats.
This polish has a decently large brush so I found myself doing much thinner coats just to be careful with my application (I’m always paranoid I will get polish all over my fingers while swatching). I mention this because you may be able to get full coverage in two coats instead of the three I did. I also LOVE the shimmer in this one. It is SO much more vibrant and obvious in real life. Either my camera didn’t want to pick it up, or I was shaking too much and it couldn’t. Be sure to check out the bottle and brush shots for more accurate representation of all the shimmer!
Venus Lacquers – Kubfu can kung fu
Description: A grey crelly with a blue shift and a small sprinkle of iridescent blue flakes.
Price: $10.50 USD
Cap: 40
Inspiration: I used a painting of fan art. Kubfu is seen kicking in mid air.
My swatches below are 2 coats.
I am a sucker for blue shift and shimmer in this one! It really is loaded with it but it’s almost a little unsuspecting! It’s always there but especially when it hits the light just right….bam! Blue shimmer! This crelly is a little bit thicker in its formula, but I did one thin coat and then one thicker coat and it worked out just fine for full coverage.
What Addiction – Pikachu Goes Dynamax
Description: A reddish purple jelly with yellow, blue, red, pink glitters with a splash of micro holo flakies for a bit of sparkle
Price: $10.00 USD
Cap: 50
Inspiration: Pikachu battling the arena as a big version of himself, AKA Dynamax!
My swatches below are 3 coats.
If you like glitter this is the polish for you! It is LOADED! I never fish for glitters when I swatch so what you see is just my normal application, but yeah, no, this one is loaded. There were tons of glitters in every coat. I love how it builds up and the purple is just a perfect, almost grape soda color. This is a fun one for sure!
There was actually only the tiniest bit of texture I could feel on my one coat of top coat! Everything laid down pretty flat which is also impressive. So I probably won’t bother with a second coat but it is always up to the wearer and what you want to do! 🙂
Zombie Claw – Rapidash
Description: A red to yellow thermal loaded with orange-red-purple-copper firey chameleon flakies
Price: $12.50 USD
Cap: 100
Inspiration: Rapidash’s fiery hair
My swatches below are 2 coats.
This polish applied very easily! Everything laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat. I also love how loaded with flakies it is. It makes my nails look different from every angle and I am pretty obsessed with it matte!
I do want to mention that this polish did have a very strong smell to it, but after wearing it for a few minutes the smell was not on my nails from what I could tell.
Polished Gamers Box Respawn
The Polished Gamers Box Respawn continues!
Each month a maximum of five makers will be bringing back an item that was released in a previous Polished Gamers Box!
These will be available on the site during normal preorder times as listed above.
Geekish Glitter Lacquer – The Vampire Killer (Retro Games Box)
I may have to get a backup of this one. I loved it and still use it!
From my original blog post:
I had the pleasure of getting to test out Lexi’s Sugar Scrub Soap before it was released and I have loved using it ever since! It’s very smooth and leaves a faint scent after use–nothing too overwhelming which is nice. It foams up quite a bit and left my hands feeling super soft and moisturized. It’s not too chonky, or all sugar, or all whipped soap–it is a nice blend of both.
Also this scent is something. It’s like walking through the fruit section at the grocery store. It very much smells sweet and tart, just like the goji berry and blood orange mentioned in the description (because everyone knows what those smell like, right?!).
Description: Don’t venture into Dracula’s territory unprepared, Belmont! This is a thick whipped sugar scrub soap scented in a blend of tart and juicy goji berry, mixed with deep blood orange that will have you ready for Castlevania!
Inspiration: Castlevania
Price: $6.00 USD
Cap: 50
NeVerMind Polish – WAH! (Sega Vs Nintendo Box) ($11.00, cap 150)
I actually purchased this one from the Sega VS Nintendo Box and swatched it before the box went live! This is NOT a PR Sample. 🙂
Sassy Cats Lacquer – Fortune Kitty (Animal Crossing Box)
From my original blog post:
Keee heh ha mo-atata….
This polish is my calling. It is a shifty shimmery beauty and definitely brings me back to getting my fortune read at Katrina’s shop. I really hope that she shows up in New Horizons!
And remember that bad times… are just times that are bad.
Application: These swatches are 3 coats of polish. I think it was gorgeous with only 2 coats but I went for a darker and deeper 3 coats. The polish went on super smooth and I love how it built up so nicely.
Description: A purple jelly with blue glowy shimmer and purple to pink to blue to gold shifting ucc flakes
Inspiration: Katrina the fortune teller in her tent
Price: 260 bells $11.00 USD
Cap: None
Color Spectrum Polish – Tetris Top Out (Retro Games Box)
From my original blog post:
I’m getting sweaty just thinking about this polish. WHY ARE THE BLOCKS FALLING FASTER AND FASTER?! When will it end?! Okay, okay, this polish doesn’t actually stress me out, but the brick laying-matching-nightmare game just might!
I believe a little nail line will always show through under this polish unless you use an undie, but that’s okay! I am impressed with how the glitters laid down while applying it and there is so much glitter you will definitely not have an issue getting some on every layer you apply. This polish would definitely make an amazing pond mani!
Description: A super fun blue jelly loaded with red, green, blue, and orange holo squares and lots of holo glitter!
Inspiration: Tetris
Price: $11.00 USD
Cap: 50
