Red Eyed Lacquer

Description: A purple / pink shifty multichrome with purple / pink shifting aurora shimmer.

My swatches below are three coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with a quick dry top coat. I had no application issues.

I think I am finally getting the hang of photographing multichromes! I hope I was able to capture every facet of this polish because it’s just lovely! It applied very easily and was almost opaque in two coats but I went for three just to be sure! This one perfectly represents the inspiration photo and I especially love the photo right before the matte photos–that pink/ red shimmer and shine is just to die for!

So this actually arrived to me about a month ago in the heat of the summer and it was 100% in liquid form! I mention this because for one, none leaked (it is sealed up perfectly), and two, you are able to put this in the fridge and it will harden again! I do not know how long it took to do so, but after a few hours in the fridge this was back to its solid yet smooshy lotion-y form (it’s hard to describe! haha!). Yours might not melt as it might be a little bit cooler now, but if it does you should definitely be fine to also throw this in your fridge for a bit!

A little goes a long way with this Da Balm-er! I barely had to dip my finger into the Da Balm-er and had plenty to cover up a couple of nails with it! It soaked in decently quickly and I also used my finger to rub the Da Balm-er into my cuticles a little bit as well. Normally with oils I just apply them and let them sit because I’m weird, but I didn’t for this.

Now for the scent of this one. Oh geez I just tried to smell it and got it all over my nose. Fail. Anywho, I’m going to be honest with you all, I couldn’t tell what the scent was when I got it. It smells vaguely fruity but also there was something I am still not able to put my finger on. It must be the champagne. Or maybe it’s the dragonfruit and champagne that are throwing me off. I have only ever smelled dragonfruit from a piece of candy (those Hi-chews that Bianca sends in orders from her store) and in a refresher drink from Dunkin’, so I am no dragonfruit expert. It does remind me of some sort of flowery type scent as well. Just know that it smells nice for sure.

Now, you might not know this, but I. LOVE. TRON. They finally announced another Tron movie and I about cried. This polish is actually based on the animated series (the photo up above infact) and I loved that too! I am currently rewatching it with my boyfriend (this is his first time seeing it) but I am still super upset they cancelled it. It is a fantastic show with great animation and a killer soundtrack and even some amazing cameos. It is on Disney+ so be sure to check it out!
Now for the polish. It is as amazing, if not more amazing, than Tron itself! I love the mix of flakies and shimmer and I had to do a little bit of Tron Uprising inspired art just to celebrate! This is one I know I will be wearing again very soon!

Smell The Peppermint Roses

Description: Smell the Peppermint Roses is a magenta pink jelly base full of holo micro glitters.

My swatches below are three coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with two coats of quick dry top coat. I had no application issues.

Now, I did not expect this one to build up the way it did! Just on the brush it seems like it may be a little bit thinner, but it definitely covered everything with 3 coats! I bet you could also use this as a topper! I also love how tiny the glitters are. There are so many and they sparkle like crazy! I do especially love this one matte–it really shows off the depth of this polish.

Over The Garden Wall

Inspiration: Inspired by the animated miniseries Over The Garden Wall on Cartoon Network in 2014.
Cap: None
Description: A house blend of Apple Barrel Cider, Autumn Harvest, and Brandied Pear.
Scent Notes: Apple, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla bean, oak, cranberry, citrus, spice, pear, musk
Ingredients: Parasoy Wax, fragrance oil, colorant, fine grain cosmetic glitter
Size: 2.6 oz

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Get those scarves and Ugg Boots ready because thanks to these wax melts, it is FALL. And right now before I post this I realize yesterday was the first day of fall!
Now, in order to get these pictures to show off the wax melts, I of course had to melt some. Be sure to check out the Pour Date and the Melt After dates on your package! I did melt mine earlier than my “melt after” date in order to take these photos but there wasn’t an issue that I noticed! Even the small amount that I melted seemed to fill most of my basement with fall fabulousness. But definitely try to follow that date as I am sure the maker knows what they are doing and it will be even more awesome then! 😉
Now, why did I melt such a small piece? Well, the last time I melted wax I melted too much and it almost spilled out of the top so I’m paranoid, and also I’m greedy. I like to make my wax melts last and I figured half of one of these shapes would be perfect! It definitely was as the scent throw was pretty dang good for even a small amount!

Now for the scent itself. When I open the bag the first thing I notice is apples. Apples, and like a spice (this syncs up with the Apple Barrel Cider mentioned 😉 ). A sweet spice. There is definitely cinnamon and sugar as well. And just really I cannot fully describe how awesome this scent is. It’s a little like, on the darker musky side while also being bright and fruity. I just love it and I know you will too!
