All of my swatches are using Cuticula’s peel off base coat (unless otherwise noted) and are topped with Vapid Lacquer’s Quick Dry Top Coat
I also top that with Red Eyed Lacquer’s Tips Matte-r Matte Top Coat
My glitter grabber top coat is the Geekish Glitter Lacquer Criminally Smooth Glitter Smoothing Topcoat
If You’ve Got It, Haunt It
Description: Bright purple crelly with red and green glitter mix and aurora shimmer
My swatches are 2 coats of polish and topped with 1 coat of top coat.
This bright purple crelly had full coverage in 2 coats! I love the mix of glitters and shimmer and this purple does have me in the spooky Halloween spirit now! The shimmer blends in perfectly with the glitter mix as well! I did only do one coat of top coat, but still felt a little texture so if you want to feel no texture, you might grab your favorite Glitter Grabber top coat and use that. It wasn’t anything crazy though so I just went with the one coat. I felt almost no texture after adding a matte top coat, so that glitter grabber should take care of it if you prefer no texture. 🙂
Demons Are A Ghoul’s Best Friend
Description: Black Jelly with shifting iridescent flakies and neon glitter mix
My swatches are 2 coats of polish and topped with 1 coat of glitter grabber top coat and then 1 coat of quick dry top coat.
I think these round coppery glitters may be my new favorite thing! I love how these look and I love how they mix with the flakies! This may actually be my favorite of the trio because of them!
The polish applied easily and I did not fish for glitters at all and quite a few appeared on my nails with just normal application. I did let my nails dry for a little bit before top coating so I wouldn’t smoosh the layers. I normally do this with all jellies because they can be a little bit squishy. 😉 I did use a glitter grabber top coat on this polish. I applied that and let it dry, then I used my regular quick dry top coat over that. I figured with the bigger glitters I should definitely give it a try and it worked out super well! There was no texture after applying the glitter grabber and then top coat.
Ghosts And Goblins Come To Play
Description: White crelly with black glitter shreds and matte and metallic glitter mix
My swatches are 2 coats of polish and topped with 1 coat of top coat.
What a fun white crelly! I love the mix of shards and glitters and this one is just perfect for Halloween. I love how simple yet crazy fun this polish is!
It applied easily and I did not have to fish for glitters or flakies at all. I did let my nails dry in between coats and top coating just to avoid smooshing when applying top coat. I didn’t use a glitter grabber for this polish because everything appeared to even out and settle pretty well and I don’t feel much texture if any on my nails after just the one coat.
My thoughts on this trio as a whole? They are perfect for Halloween! I love the white crelly especially with the mix of Halloween color flakies and glitters, and I am still a huge fan of those coppery glitters in the black polish as well!
