PRESS SAMPLE
Hey everyone! I want to start this blog post out with a big thank you to my followers and the makers I work with. I am still recovering from being ill and I really just want to say I appreciate all of the support and well wishes I have received. All of the makers I work with (including those in this blog post!) have been nothing but understanding and wonderful as I recover. I do want to mention that I feel like I’m off my swatching game a little bit this month, so I sincerely hope I do these polishes and items justice. Please always keep an eye out for more photos from other swatchers so you can see these polishes and items showed off by some amazing folks. <3

Alchemy Lacquers
Dreamland Sunset
Shop | Facebook | Facebook Group | Instagram
Price: $11.50 USD
Inspiration: Dreamland Sunset was inspired by the sunset seafood dinner at Dreamland Beach in Bali Indonesia that we had for my birthday. My husband is crouching down in the picture, contemplating life!
Cap: 250
Description: Dreamland Sunset is a lavender crelly with red/orange/gold/green shifting flakes and red/orange/gold/green/shifting shimmer
My swatches below are 3 coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with a quick dry top coat.
Alchemy is back with another adorable burrito and another fabulous flakie filled polish! So for this polish, two coats may be enough coverage for some folks, but I went ahead and did 3 because I thought that would for sure give me full opacity and it definitely did. Don’t worry if the first coat is a little sheer, that is definitely normal and it will build up with even just one more coat. 🙂 Now that I have said that though, I bet this polish would work as a topper too! I may have to try that and come back with some results!
Everything laid down nice and flat and I only needed one coat of top coat. This is a gorgeous polish and even though I love winter, it does have me a little bit ready for spring!
Color Spectrum Polish
Coffee Shop Stop
Shop | Facebook | Facebook Group | Instagram
Price: $12.00 USD
Inspiration: Amsterdam
Cap: 105
Description: A black (cold) to grey (warm) thermal with lots of copper and orange shimmers, orange to yellow shifting ucc flakies and orange hex glitters

My swatches below are 2 coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with a quick dry top coat.
It’s 5:00PM here (which is wayyyyyyy after my hard stop of 10:00AM of having coffee) but I really just want some mocha or a caramel macchiato so very bad after swatching this polish. Also, if you’re wondering, I cannot handle caffeine very well and therefore cannot have it very late into the day, but I can wear this polish!
So normally I think I have a tendency to prefer thermals in their cold state, or at least in the darker shade of the thermal, but this time my mind has been changed. I think you can see the shimmer and the glitters even better in the lighter grey state and I am smitten! I really need to wear this one again soon when I have time to do nail art because it would go great with some foam latte art or any coffee themed art as well!

Jen & Berries
Patina Turner
Shop | Facebook | Facebook Group | Instagram
Price: $12.50 USD
Inspiration: The Statue of Liberty
Cap: 250
Description: A pale green-blue holo to represent the current patina of the statue with copper shimmer and flecks as a reminder of the original finish
My swatches below are 2 coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with a quick dry top coat.
Oh myyyyyy. This is like my dream shade of mint/ teal / green-blue whatever-the-heck-you-want-to-call-it polish. The holo is insane and oh my goodness it just shines. It applied like a dream and I really just don’t want to write this blog anymore because I can’t stop staring at my nails. I think you’re going to want to get to polish pickup right on time so you don’t miss out on this one. Also, I do want to note that it was a little bit difficult to capture the copper shimmer in photos! It’s so much easier to see in person and you can see it a little bit in my photos, but I think in person it’s so much better!
Red Eyed Lacquer
Mount Halla
Shop | Facebook | Facebook Group | Instagram
Price: $12.50 USD
Inspiration: Mount Halla in South Korea
Cap: 150
Description: A blue/pinkish purple multichrome
My swatches below are 2 coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with a quick dry top coat.
I was not expecting this to be a two coater but it is! I did one thin coat and then probably a little bit thicker of a second coat and got full coverage! It applied like butter as well! I am just in love ya’ll. I am actually calling it now. This is my new favorite multichrome I own. It went on smooth, only needed two coats, and the shift is phenomenal. It also even looks so pretty on my short nails. I bet it’s even more mind blowing if you have even more free polish real estate. 😉 I also think that in person at some angles the pink / maroon shift is wayyyyy more visible. I just wasn’t able to capture that here. You’re really going to just want to see this one in person. <3
I also did a comparison of this polish to one REL previously released through PPU, “Pink Elephants”. First thing when I opened my swatcher package I thought “is this Pink Elephants?” and NOPE. It definitely is not. It is very different and I’m glad I double checked. 🙂
(Mount) Halla Back Y’all Da Balm-er
Price: $7.50 USD
Inspiration: Mount Halla in South Korea
Cap: 65
Scent Description: Clean and fresh with tropical fruits and sugared citrus notes
Size: 1 oz
REL is back with another Da Balm-er this month! I actually haven’t had the chance to promote REL’s balm after the sale starts the last few months because it keeps selling out! Ya’ll must really love the stuff and this month I may have to fight some folks for a backup! 😉
This scent is my favorite I have smelled so far. It’s a little bit fruity, a little bit sweet and sugary, and clean all at the same time. It’s close to one of those jelly candy sugar coated oranges. I think that is what it reminds me of the most. With maybe a little bit of clean cotton mixed in? I just really can’t get enough. I have been sitting here smelling it for a little bit too long…..I’m starting to worry….
But as you may have read in my previous blogs, you do not need much of the da balm-er for a nice good rehydration session. I just swiped one finger over the balm and rubbed it into my cuticles and I was good to go! I actually hadn’t worn cuticle oil in a couple days and after one use I already saw a difference in how dry my skin was. I guess I need to keep up with using it and my REL oils!
Sweet Heart Polish
Fun Wheel
Shop | Facebook | Facebook Group | Instagram
Price: $9.00 USD
Inspiration: It was inspired by a photo of Mickey’s Fun Wheel that I took the last time my family was at the parks
Cap: None
Description: A black base jelly with iridescent shifting micro glitters and a splash of holo
My swatches below are 2 coats of polish over a peel off base coat and topped with one coat of quick dry top coat.
This polish is actually a little bit thicker than I expected! I tried doing one thinner and then one thicker coat and I think the thicker coat applied easier. I think with all the holo goodness, it’s just easier to put more polish on at once. 🙂 But this is a very pretty polish that works great by itself or as a perfect backdrop for some nail art! It’s simple yet super fun and sparkly! I’m honestly kind of obsessed with it matte and I wish now that I hadn’t done a peel off base coat so I could keep it on mattefied. I will just have to wear it again soon!
Tonshi Mountain Studios
Stonehenge
Shop | Facebook | Facebook Group | Instagram
Price: $6.00 USD
Inspiration: Inspired by Stonehenge and the rainy weather in England
Cap: None
Description: A strong, musky blend of Midnight Rain, River Rock, Water, and Thunderstorm Scentsy Type
Midnight Rain: Fresh air on a rainy evening and water with a touch of night musk
River Rock: Bergamot, Lemon Peel, Orange Zest, Thyme, Lily of the Valley, Orange Blossom, Lavender, White Pepper, Driftwood, Leather, Oakmoss, Amber, White Musk
Water: Clean, airy, with a hint of musk. Promotes feelings of inspiration and creativity
Thunderstorm Scentsy: Very refreshing, sharp, spicy, outdoor fragrance; like the breeze in a storm
Ingredients: Parasoy Wax, Fragrance Oil, Colorant
Size: 4 ounces
Alright. So. I may have had a little bit too much fun with this set. Angela of Tonshi explained to me that she created these rectangular wax melts so that anyone could build their own mini Stonehenge. So of course that meant a photoshoot was required!
Now I might recommend NOT trying to stack these up to look like Stonehenge in your wax melter. You can try, but it did not work out for me. Maybe if you have a larger square melter with more flat surface area, but it’s probably safer to not try it. 😉
The scent throw on melting just two of these bricks was nuts though! I felt like I was in a rainforest spa. That must also mean my sense of smell is coming back as well!
I definitely catch a nice whiff of rain, waterfalls, and fresh uhhhh more rain. It just has a lovely forest-water type smell to it. It almost reminds me of some body wash my boyfriend has. My boyfriend also has certain scents he really likes (such as outdoorsy and muskier type scents) so I think this will definitely be safe to melt around him too!
I do want to mention that this one smells a little bit different from when it is just the bricks in the bag versus when it is being melted–to me at least. When I smell the bag of wax bricks, I smell a brighter sort of thunderstorm cologne musky scent (which still smells amazing of course). But while I was melting it, the rainstorm, outdoors breeze, and water scents seem to take over just a little bit more and I didn’t notice the muskiness as much. I think all around this is just a great combination!
I also like to always mention to check out the “melt after” date just to make sure you’re melting the wax once is it ready to be melted! I haven’t had an issue melting before this date, but I am sure the maker knows what they are doing. 😉
